Apples: Apples contain fiber which is great for your dogs digestive track and helps to maintain a healthy balance in the gut. Apples are also an excellent source of vitamin C which helps to improve immune function and vitamin A for mainting a healthy skin and coat.
Bananas: Bananas contain almost no fat and are an excellent source of fiber which is great for your dogs digestion and rich amounts of magnesium which helps the body absorb vitamins. Bananas are high in vitamin B6 and vitamin C, both aiding in immune health and are also high in potassium aiding in the function of the heart, muscles, and nerves.
Cinnamon: Cinnamon is a great spice that adds flavor to many of our recipes. Cinnamon is great for heart health since it improves circulation and also helps to lower cholesterol levels and regulate blood sugar. The anti-inflammatory properties of cinnamon also help to relieve joint pain.
Chickpea Flour: We use chickpea flour that is stone ground from rich and hearty whole garbanzo beans. Stone ground flours retain more of its vitamins and minerals during the milling process because it is processed at lower temperatures and crushed between stones rather than spinning rollers which can separate nutrients.
